  1. I think the term "author" carries more weight than "writer," and people will ask the next question after author, "What's the name of your book/s?" This might get you mores sales too. Wishing you all the best!

    1. To me writer is what I "do" and author is kind of a state of being. Just like I'll always be a mother, even after my kids grow up and are taking care of themselves, I'll always be an author now that my books are available, but I'm no longer actively raised them. I created them and gave them the tools to thrive (hopefully) and now they are out there on their own and must stand on their own. Writer is a continuous process.
