Sales Chart Art!

We authors sometimes watch our sales and pages read reports a little too closely. So much so that eventually, our report graphs start to take on a life of their own.

For instance, a couple weeks ago, this was on my pages read report ...

And it didn't stop there. A few days later it morphed into something fearsome.

I shared it with some of my author friends, and everyone was quite impressed with my amazing paint skills (so amazing).

After a bit, though, Copy Cats sprang up ...

So of course, I had to escalate... Nobody simply walks into my sales chart.

Then Cynthia came back with something very scary ...

See, when you purchase from indie authors, you not only get to read a great story, you have a chance to inspire truly epic works of art.

If you want to see any of the books that caused these dramatic images, you can check out my author page below.

  1. Too funny! Maybe you all should go into graphic design, or illustrating, perhaps? :)

  2. These are so fun! I don't watch my sales as much as my website nalytics. Might have to see if there's some art to be found there. ;)

    1. It was a lot of fun, seeking out the various hidden pictures. I was so excited when I found a dragon.

    1. I just screen shot mine, copy it into paint, and mess around with it.

  6. This makes me feel better about checking my sales chart. Now instead of compulsively watching sales I can tell myself I'm simply being creative and looking for images to emerge. This turned out great! So fun!!
