Random Interview Saturday! Kim McMahill

The H. L. Burke Random Interview is not like other interviews. The questions are all over the place. They have no purpose. Their purpose is their lack of purpose.

There are nine questions because cats, but these nine questions are subject to change without notice, so the questions one person answers may not be the questions answered by the next author.

Trumpets sound, the doors fly open, and our next author marches in. It's Kim MicMahill!

The Interview!

Did you bring me anything?
Just gratitude for having me on your blog and an offer to reciprocate anytime.

You're walking along the seashore when you see something sticking out of the sand. What is it and how do you approach it?
If it’s a small chest likely containing treasure, I’d approach it quickly and dig like crazy in case the tide is coming in.

If you were the captain of a space ship, what would its mission be? Exploration? Colonization? Partying?
The mission would be exploration. I love to travel because I enjoy discovering new places, cultures, and cuisine.

What is your favorite guilty pleasure?
Chocolate and peanut butter, not necessarily in that order.

If you could enter any fictional world, which would you choose?
Middle Earth after the Return of the King.

You are faced with a powerful being who wants to challenge you to a contest. If you win you get your heart's desire. If you lose, a terrible punishment, and you are contractually obligated to play. What sort of contest do you choose for it to be? (Can be anything from a sword fight to a cook off).
I’d have to go for a cribbage tournament. I know that’s not very glamourous, but one thing I’d have a decent shot at winning.

Technology or Magic?
Magic for sure. Technology is not my friend.

If I were to invite you over, what snacks would you bring, keeping in mind that fruit and dried fruit are not snacks?
Chocolate brownies with peanut butter frosting.

If this question were any question in the world, what question would you want it to be and how would you answer it?
What’s your Risky Research Series about and when’s the next book coming out?
It’s a romantic suspense series. As the series progresses we’ll see how far will a deadly group go to control the diet product industry worth billions and if can anyone stop them. The third novel in the series will be release in 2018.
