Random Interview Saturday! Keturah Lamb

The H. L. Burke Random Interview is not like other interviews. The questions are all over the place. They have no purpose. Their purpose is their lack of purpose.

There are nine questions because cats, but these nine questions are subject to change without notice, so the questions one person answers may not be the questions answered by the next author.

Our next author crashes in on a spaceship ... like literally crashes. DUCK!
Keturah Lamb

Keturah Lamb is a young woman learning how to both live in and embrace God's reality. The written and verbal words help this process. She likes to call herself a realistic idealist. She has many passions in life, the first being her ideas concerning friendship {love}, the second being laughter {smile}.

The Interview

What do you see as the pros and cons of a career as a professional pirate?
Well, the pay would be good. But I'm not sure the mortality rate it high? As one wouldn't know if they could expect to live tomorrow they might tend to spend carelessly. Then if one did happen to make it to old age they most likely wouldn't have a very nice savings. I might do it for a few weeks, just for quick cash. But considering mortality rate, as I mentioned before, I probably would find a safer career as soon as possible.

In your opinion, which is the best space ship?
One that someone else is driving. Because if I drove it, it would end up being a crashed spaceship.

Tree House or Cave? And why?
Oh, I've always loved tree houses! I just love trees. So pretty. Green (green is the magic color). Wood is amazing. Caves would be a great second choice, though, as long as they weren't too damp or cold. I do not like being cold at all.

What is your favorite dinosaur and why?
I don't really like dinosaurs and I'm very glad they are extinct. Though I wouldn't mind seeing a dragon someday... from a distance I couldn't be burned. Though I'd make an exception to ride it.

You have a choice: coffee still tastes like coffee but has absolutely no caffeine in it ... OR ... coffee tastes like water but still has caffeine. Which do you choose?
Coffee that tastes like coffee without caffeine, because I like the taste of coffee but never drink it as I get headaches. Decaf is fine though ;D I also like to brag that I live life more awake than the majority of humanity and I NEVER drink coffee. And I go to bed late and get up early. And I always crave more sleep. Yet... I live life awake ;D

Favorite flavor (of what? EVERYTHING!)?
Chocolate... except that's so cliche. So let's go with black licorice. Though I wouldn't want that flavor in EVERYTHING. Oooohh, I know! Peanut butter or cinnamon. Those two I could live off of. Want a cigar... I mean cinnamon stick? They are very good for you.

If you could grant one species of animal the ability to talk, which would you choose?
Dolphins. Because they are amazing. I would almost choose goats, but they are already ornery enough.

If you had the honor of naming something really big (a country, a spaceship, a planet) what would you want it to be and what would you name it?
Ooooohhh... I'd rename Earth. Because then EVERYONE would know. I don't know what I'd rename it. Maybe Kearth. K(eturah) + earth. But that doesn't sound as nice...

If this question were any question in the world, what question would you want it to be and how would you answer it?
Where should all of humanity live, and who should be their ruler?
Earth, obviously as that's where we live, and despite it's faults, it is the best planet in the world ;D And as much as I'd like to say I should be ruling, God is really the best candidate. I'm pretty sure if I took over Satan would be pretty close by... that wouldn't be pretty. So, yeah. Earth is where I'd want to live, with God as my ruler.

  1. LOL, I love this interview!! All of Keturah's answers are fantastic, but I especially love the first two. Hilarious.

PEANUT BUTTER AND CINNAMON. yes, those flavors are delicious. Two of my favorites as well.

After careful deliberation... I must agree with you on the coffee thing. I do drink coffee both for caffeine and the taste, but I love the taste too much to give it up; I'd have to get my caffeine somewhere else. Or maybe just sleep more. :p

    Awesome post!
